USCB Mathematics Student Teaching and Internships

The University of South Carolina Beaufort offers its students who are studying mathematics many opportunities to put what they learn in the classroom into practice in the Lowcountry community and beyond.

$Student Teaching and Internship$ Students who are earning a BS in Secondary Teacher Education in Mathematics serve as student teachers under the guidance of master teachers in the Beaufort County School District.

$Congratulations Lingtao Chen SULI Internship Selectee$

A 2021 graduate who double majored in Computational Science and Mathematics, Lingtao Chen was selected for the U.S. Department of Energy's prestigious Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) program. He interned at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
