I joined the University of South Carolina Beaufort faculty in 2006. I teach courses on a wide variety of topics, including historical methods, American legal history and modern Mexico. I am currently working on two projects: a history of Mexico’s system of military justice, and a historiographical study of Afromexico. I currently serve as Program Coordinator for the History Major and co-chair the Honors Program Steering Committee. In addition to advising history majors, I also work with students interested in our Pre-Law advising track.
