Scholarships
Scholarships don't have to be paid back and come from USCB, community donors and national
sources. Some scholarships are based on merit (academic achievements) while others

Hilton Head Hospital Auxiliary
HHHA offers a scholarship for current USCB Nursing students. Annually, six USCB Nursing students receive $2,000 awards. Learn more
SC Nurse Retention Scholarship
The South Carolina Nurse Retention Scholarship (SCNRS) is dedicated to retaining top
nursing talent in Beaufort County. The fund is administered by the Community Foundation
of the Lowcountry and awards recent BSN grads up to $12,000 over 2 years ($6,000 per
year) based on merit, dedication to the nursing profession, and financial need. Recipients
of the scholarship must be employed in primary medical care in Beaufort County. Learn more.
1795 Scholarship
Nursing Students in the Honors Program and living in the residence halls on the Beaufort campus are eligibile for the 1795 Scholarship.
