USCB Sand Sharks Serve the Community in the Human Service Student Organization

Open to all students, the Human Services Student Organization offers members the chance to volunteer in the community and make a difference. Many of the group’s activities allow members to put in practice the knowledge and skills they have learned in their coursework at USCB. Fun, friendship and networking are part of the mission!

For more information about USCB's Human Services Student Organization, contact Kate Stanton, president for the 2022-23 academic year, or faculty advisor Professor John Leadem.

“The human services program has prepared me to achieve my goals by educating me in the skills needed to be the best helping professional I can be. Currently, I am serving as a Child Services Professional for a behavioral health organization providing services to at-risk youth in the local community. I am so grateful for USCB and the Human Services program.”
